Susan Burdorf, Volunteer Coordinator
“Every day, I see real respect and concern from staff toward the residents. I also see understanding of where they are in the disease process. A place where people work with this demographic and still keep smiling is a place I want to be.”
Nic Rudd, Abe’s Garden chef/baker
“I love working at Abe’s Garden®. This is a unique place. There are few communities where I can interact with the people whose meals I’m preparing. I can tell you what each one is going to eat and the foods they don’t like.”
Anne, daughter of Abe’s Garden resident
“The Abe’s Garden® staff is making my dad’s new chapter so easy. In our first conversation (since moving in), he reported he has a great room, with a beautiful view, and lots of light ... the people are very nice, and the food is tasty.”
